CSMR Presenter Guide
This page provides some information for people presenting at CSMR.
There will be two parallel tracks in separate rooms in the building.
There should not be any danger of two presenters needing to be in two places at the same time but if you spot anything like that in the advance programme,
please let Nicolas Gold know.
Each room will be equipped with data projectors, PCs etc. Depending on how risk averse you are, you may also wish to bring acetates, floppy disks, CDs etc in case of problems.
Arrangements for Full paper technical presentations
Full paper technical presentations will have the standard half hour slot (i.e. 20 minutes + 10 questions).
Presenters in the dissertation forum and tool demo sessions have slightly different arrangements which can be found below.
Each session will have a chair - please ensure that you make yourself known to the chair in advance of your presentation in order that you can arrange for your slides to be pre-loaded if necessary and to provide them with enough information to introduce you.
I hope this gives some more information about how CSMR 2005 will work but you have any questions, please let me know. Nicolas Gold, CSMR Programme Chair
Arrangements for Tool Demonstration Session
Each speaker has about 17 min. available for the presentation, plus about 5 min. for questions
Each speaker is expected to:
1. Show an overview of the tool features/architecture using max. 2-3 slides
2. Perform the “live demo” of the tool
Speakers are supposed to have the tool installed on their own laptops.
If this is not possible, please contact Massimiliano Di Penta
(dipenta@unisannio.it) as soon as possible.
During the break before the session, speakers should:
1. Contact the session chair
2. Check the laptop connection with the projector
Doctoral Symposium paper presentations will have a quarter of an hour slot;
that is roughly 10 minutes to present and 5 minutes for questions.
The symposium will have a chair - please ensure that you make yourself known to the chair
in advance of your presentation in order that you can arrange for your slides
to be pre-loaded if necessary and to provide him with information to introduce you.
